About Us

The Approach

Our approach is structured, collaborative, and focused on both insight and practical change. We integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, and emotional regulation strategies to enhance our methods. Additionally, our mindfulness-based therapy allows us to address not only thought patterns but also emotional responses and relationship dynamics.

Counselor, Coach, and Consultant

Brooks Bing, MA, LPC-S

cognitive + mindfulness-based

systems-based

pattern decoding

“makes sense of the mess”

Brooks is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness-based therapy to work with adults and couples navigating patterns that seem unresponsive to effort alone.

She tends to resonate with individuals who think deeply, analyze everything, and often feel frustrated that understanding something doesn’t automatically lead to change. Many of her clients are high-functioning, self-aware, and capable—but find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional reactivity, ADHD-related challenges, or repetitive relationship conflicts that can feel confusing.

Her style is structured, curious, and insight-driven, incorporating emotional regulation strategies to help clients map their internal experiences—how thoughts, attention, emotion, and behavior interconnect. She then translates that understanding into practical shifts in daily life and relationships. Sessions often feel focused, collaborative, and oriented toward clarity and progress.

Clients describe her as direct yet thoughtful, someone who assists them in “untangling the system” rather than merely discussing what’s wrong.

Brooks provides virtual therapy across Texas. Outside of her work, she enjoys being on the water most days, where she finds space to think, reset, and step away from constant mental noise.

Work with Brooks if you...

Tend to overthink, analyze, and try to “figure everything out”

Want to understand why patterns keep happening

Feel frustrated that insight alone hasn’t created change

Like structure, clarity, and a more direct, problem-solving approach

Are interested in identifying the systems behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors

Brooks is a good fit if you want to untangle what’s happening and actively shift it.

Counselor and Coach

Mandy Ebner, M.Ed, LPC-S

somatic / emotional grounding / regulation present-moment awareness “calms the system”

Mandy Ebner is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, working with adults and couples who feel emotionally overloaded, disconnected, or worn down by the pace of life.

Many of the people she works with are carrying a lot—both internally and externally—and have gotten used to pushing through rather than pausing to notice what they’re actually feeling. Anxiety, stress, relationship tension, and burnout often manifest as mental noise, physical tension, or emotional shutdown that’s hard to fully explain.

Mandy’s approach is grounded, present, and experiential, incorporating emotional regulation strategies to help clients slow down enough to actually notice what’s happening in their body and emotions in real time. This mindfulness-based therapy allows them to respond with more steadiness and self-trust. Rather than rushing toward solutions, she emphasizes awareness, regulation, and reconnecting with a sense of internal balance.

Clients often describe her as calming and easy to be with—someone who helps them feel less “spun up” and more anchored in themselves as they work through difficult experiences.

She provides virtual therapy across Texas. Outside of her work, Mandy enjoys yoga and gardening, both of which reflect her appreciation for slowing down, paying attention, and letting things grow in their own time.

Work with Mandy if you...

Feel emotionally overwhelmed, shut down, or “spun up” under stress

Have trouble slowing your thoughts or body once you’re activated

Want help noticing and understanding what you feel in real time

Prefer a calmer, more grounding, present-focused style

Feel like you need space to slow down before trying to “fix” anything

Mandy is a good fit if you want to slow things down and reconnect with yourself first.
